Revoke a UPI mandate in PhonePe, Google Pay or Paytm
UPI apps can use different menu names, but the cancellation pattern is similar: find active mandates, revoke the right merchant, and save proof.
Step-by-step guide
- 1Open the UPI app used for the mandate.
- 2Check profile, UPI, payments, AutoPay, mandates, recurring payments, or subscriptions.
- 3Match the merchant name, amount, frequency, date, or mandate ID.
- 4Choose revoke, cancel, pause, or stop AutoPay if shown.
- 5Take a screenshot of the final status and cancel the merchant subscription separately.
Warning
Do not revoke a mandate blindly if it is linked to EMI, insurance, SIP, or dues you still need to pay.
